    I don’t know what to call the boxed bar at the top of each content page, but I want it to go away. I have seen several sites that use this theme but don’t show those boxes, so I know it’s possible…but how? I’ve tried deselecting everything in Screen Options, with no luck. My site is on my local machine so I cannot provide a link. Thank you.

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! would you mind providing some screenshots of the boxed bar. However if you mean by the navigation bar: https://prntscr.com/877ynl, so you can deactivate it by going under Appearance > Theme Options > Header > Disable Main Menu as per shown here: https://prntscr.com/877y55.

    Thanks.

    Here is a screen shot – this shows up on the content pages and not on the home page: https://prntscr.com/88depa

    Thanks!

    Well, I just learned that it is NOT the entry title that I’d like to hide, but the box above it. Thought I’d found the solution but seems my biggest problem is not knowing the names of all the components (this is the problem I run in to with ALL WP themes, not just this one). It would be so helpful if the authors could supply some kind of “map” or diagram showing the components with names. But I appreciate having these forums and the help from other users in invaluable.

    Found it! It’s the breadcrumb navigation (never would have guess that name) and got rid of it by adding this line to my CSS: .breadcrumbs { display:none;}

    Thanks for your willingness to help, emranemranx!

    We’re glad that you’ve solved it yourself! ??
