I can log into my admin panel but if I click on “Plugins” or any related pages like “Updates” it will give me a 404 “page not found” error. I can still click on “Editor” under plugins and see all the code pages for my plugins, but “Installed Plugins” and “Add New” gives me the error.

I tried renaming my plugins folder in cpanel, and removing all plugins from it, but this doesn’t solve the issue. Even if there are 0 plugins in the folder it still gives me the 404 error. Any help :] ?

Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

Yeah that’s exactly what I tried earlier today. I got that from the same thread you did too. No changes though :/

I didn’t get that from a thread, I wrote that. I just use it a lot and don’t mind when others do. ??

Next thing to try, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Haha nevermind.

Anyway, I just put in a ticket with my hosting company an hour ago and it seems to be fixed. Thanks for taking the time to help people free of charge by the way!
