Enfold Installation issues using dashboard

Ok everyone, I have recently bought Enfold, i am using it locally on a wamp server, widows 7 pro and I am having issues installing it. I have read everything i can possibly read, and have gotten nowhere.
The first way I tried was extracting the file and copying it directly into the theme folder and that did not work due to permissions. I followed the windows 7 instructions on changing permissions and the problem seems to be something i have to change with php settings which I gave up when I found a post on installing it through the wordpress dashboard.
I downloaded the zipped file, opened it and tried uploading the enfold.zip file and received the apparently infamous are you sure you want to do this please try again notification. then i downloaded the wordpress file only version and tried to upload it and I am still receiving the same error. I have read every post and watched every help video possible and have tried everything with no success. I am definitely using the right zipped folder so I have no idea what is going on and I am quite baffled at this point.
i have deleted the downloads, restarted and downloaded again, logged in and out of wordpress…but every attempt only produces Hate Sandwiches in the form of that fascist “are you sure you want to do this?” message which is sure to give me nightmares. I cant wait to see that next time I go to the ATM. Anyway. If anyone can help I would be truly grateful, I really wanted to work on my site all weekend.
