Add Captions to Portfolio Images

The caption should pull from the title of each post. Is this not the case for you?

Yes, it fetches the title on the home page but I want to add captions to the images on the Portfolio page.

This should happen by default. Have you given your images captions? How are you adding the images? Can you post a link?

Hey Ron,
Lets be clear if your adding a gallery then captions would show when you click on an image in the lightbox. The free theme doesn’t have a gallery option that shows captions on the gallery thumbnails. Premium theme does though.

You will see images without captions. And yes, I have given title and captions for the images listed there. I use “Slider Gallery” section given below the editor.

So one thing you can do is add images one be one rather then creating a gallery. This should show your images with captions, just wouldn’t give you the gallery features.
