    Hey there,

I exported my sites with the plugin. Then edited the csv accordingly (added content) and imported it with the plugin.
    I mapped everything and got a success-message.
But still, no pages were created.

Is this some kind of bug?

Also, is there a guideline as to how to export the csv from excel? I just saved it as a csv, the default settings, maybe that’s the problem? I couldn’t find any solution in the documentation on how to export the csv accordingly. Also, csv means comma-seperated. Will excel not seperate the content on every comma then? I have commas in my content.. ??

    Greetings,

    Danilo

This may be because something is broken in your csv. The export is ok, just reopen the csv file again and check for format issues. Or else use google spread sheet, this will fix in most cases. Try with couple of post import, once you comfort you can prepare for final import.

Hey, I really don’t get this to work. The only format that seems to work is a tab-seperated file (.tsv). This, however, does not work with the plugin.

If I export my file as a csv the content is seperated each time there is a comma.

With google docs I also had no success.
Is there a template-file I can just edit? Also, is there a guide on how to properly export the file? I don’t really get this to work and a client is waiting unfortunately

Better add sample of your csv to get a timely solution.

Sure, thanks a lot in advance!

I added 2 files, one is the excel file, one is that same file as a csv.

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11366713/csv%20sample.xlsx

I copied that first row from a csv that I exported with the plugin and then just added my own content, as you suggested.

Your csv getting cannot open error in excel. So I converted the provided xlsx as csv here, try import now with new csv.

right, this worked. May I ask what steps you took to convert that?
Whenever I try to upload an xlsx in google docs, I get an error that the file is too big.. :/

Ok, open your xlsx in excel and save it as CSV. Ensure Save as Type file type is CSV (Comma delimitted). Thats it.

Kindly review our plugin without missing. Hope you will.
