• I have been building a test site with a new theme on test.mydomain.com that I am planning on moving over to mydomain.com once I figure out how to do that (tips!???)

    But one thing that’s concerning me is that I might lose all of my blog subscribers if I change the theme.

    Will that happen? Or will all the subscribers still remain, even if I change the theme and the majority of the content?

    Yes, they certainly should as long as their info remains in your database…and I say that because you are likely using a plugin that places them there and some plugins delete their data when they are uninstalled. And so…

    You might or might not deactivate all plugins prior to making the switch, but do be sure to have a database backup beforehand and *do not delete* any plugins you do plan to continue to use.
