Caption Overwriting Same Image Caption in Different Slide

  • This is a backend issue that is occurring in the latest version of the plugin. If I use the same image on two different sliders, and change the caption for one slider on that image, it also updates the caption on the same image for the other slider. This is not the kind of behavior one would expect. You would expect that you can use the same image on different sliders, and have separate captions for each. Please fix the plugin such that it works this way, as one would expect.

    This is the expected behaviour for Meta Slider – the slides use images and their meta data from the core WordPress media library, including the caption. Meta Slider doesn’t reproduce this information for images added to the sliders.

    If you’re looking to use the same image but with different information you will need to upload a copy of the image.
