Subscriber emails not sending

Hi, I just installed MailPoet the other day. I activated it to make sure it would work, sent out a test email and tried a different email in the subscriber box- all worked great. Then I took it down briefly to send one last post with my previous subscription plugin (JetPack). Then I set everything back up, but now when subscribers type their email in the widget, they don’t receive a confirmation email and i get a failure message like this via my “undeliverable mail” email:

550 5.7.1 initiative. yc5si2906305pbc.27 – gsmtpTest emails also do not go through. I am sending PHP mail through my own website, hosted by BlueHost.
I did make sure to deactivate everything from JetPack that might have interfered.
