Hi, I just installed MailPoet the other day. I activated it to make sure it would work, sent out a test email and tried a different email in the subscriber box- all worked great. Then I took it down briefly to send one last post with my previous subscription plugin (JetPack). Then I set everything back up, but now when subscribers type their email in the widget, they don’t receive a confirmation email and i get a failure message like this via my “undeliverable mail” email:

74.125.25.27 failed after I sent the message.
Remote host said: 550-5.7.1 Unauthenticated email from yahoo.com is not accepted due to domain’s

Test emails also do not go through. I am sending PHP mail through my own website, hosted by BlueHost.

I did make sure to deactivate everything from JetPack that might have interfered.

    Thank you.

Still looking for help on this!

You shouldn’t be using a Yahoo email. Use the one from your own domain.

I only used Yahoo to receive the test email. I used the server email as suggested.

As it is 2 weeks later, I’ve already tried several things. I completely uninstalled MailPoet and re-installed it three times. Now I can send myself a test email, but all the MailPoet pages in the backend have several lines of error code before I can see the settings.

Since I wasn’t receiving support here, I tried a few other plugins in the meantime, but I really like the feel of MailPoet. I’d like to use it and would even consider upgrading to the Pro version if I knew I’d get decent support on it. Please help.
