Customized menu widget

Hi,
First of all, thank you for an awesome theme!

I have placed my menu in a sidebar widget, and so far so good. I have a lot of child pages to each parent page. Is it possible to show only the parent page in the widget until you click on it, and then the child pages will extract?
Right now it looks “messy” instead of nicely!
