Not working in excerpt

    I did! My issue was pretty simple…I didn’t put the shortcode in the excerpt field of the edit post page.

    If you just put it in the content and your excerpt is automatically generating from your theme, it won’t work.

    You have to actually put the shortcode in the excerpt field and make sure your excerpt is not stripping shortcodes out.

    I tried that, and it still didn’t work for me.

    I resolved it myself by manually adding the lines of code to my page:

    <script>
var MP3jPLAYLISTS = [];
var MP3jPLAYERS = [];
</script>

    Seems it was missing from the page in question for me.
