How to increase max upload size

  • Hello, how do I increase WordPress maximum upload size limit? I’ve asked where I host the webiste and they said the default upload size is 16 MB but I’m not able to change it anywhere and anyhow.

    Help please?

    It’s a host limitation and that’s not something you can change in WordPress.

    See if your host will increase the PHP file upload and post size via upload_max_filesize and post_max_size in your host’s server php.ini file.

    If they do then you’ll be good. If not then you may wish to consider a new host or hosting plan.

    Do you have access to your php myadmin or cpanel? If so click on select php version > settings > and increase upload_max_filesuze and post_max_size.

    I change it but no affect.
