URL's no longer supported in image captions?

  • I have always added image credits as links in the Alt Text section of my images as follows:
    Image Source: (a href=”url” target=”blank”)image source name(/a)
    replace ( ) with < and >

    However, since updating to 4.3, the url’s are stripped as soon as I save the post. This is also the case with trying to put a link into the regular caption area as well. What gives?

    How do I include links for giving image credit in the image caption?
