CSS HTML Links in Image Captions

  • Hi,

    This may be a silly question.
    I want to create static galleries with customized text in the caption area.
    Can I add CSS and HTML directly into the caption box in the Media Library to create links and customize the text.
    – the image links to a page
    – the “caption title” and/or the text below also links to the page
    – Customize the color, font size of the text in the caption
    – A “Read More” tag would be a bonus feature

    If possible, should I use HTML or CSS???

    I see examples like the above everywhere, but I cannot find a simple way to do it.

    I am having a hard time finding a gallery plugin to do all this seamlessly. From what I understand, part of the problem is that the Media Library does not allow you to add a link to an image.
