Hover over menu followed by dropdown submenu not working

  • I have menus in Header and Footer (same – Menu 1). The “parent” menu then has sub-menu (the child menu) and followed by some ‘grandchildren’ menus. Up until a week ago all were working fine but not now. The arrow on parent is visible yet when clicking on the small arrow, something happens ever so quickly but I am left without any child or grandchildren menus. I have gone to “Menu” and deleted some children and grandchildren then rebuilt the menu but to no avail.
    I would appreciate some feedback. Thank you

    Seems to work ok in IE and FF, but not the desktop view in Chrome. Using Chrome in mobile view the menus expand correctly and are all active, so wouldn’t seem like a jQuery conflict. Not sure what the problem is. Have you activated any new plugins lately? Does the problem still occur if you switch to a default WP theme like Twenty-Fifteen?
