  • Are you sure you have MailPoet installed? This error message is basically saying that MailPoet isn’t installed on your website.

Anyway, this plugin (add-on) you are using is not currently updated in a while, so there might be some issues with it.

yes i have the mail poet wp-ecommerce addon installed i also tried installing just the mailpoet plugin but that just caused a white screen of death so had to remove it.

It appears the problem is a code error relating to the call on the lists it’s looking for a class wysija and not finding it

@wendyg: Mailpoet must be installed, “mailpoet-wp-e-commerce-add-on” is an addon, only works if Mailpoet is installed.

as i said the mailpoet plugin causes the white screen of death no admin area nothing we had it working then wordpress did an update to 4.3 and everything stopped dead i had to remove the mailpoet plugin in order to get the site working again however mailpoet provides a vital link with our sites customers.

ok i updated the memory limit as specified in the help files i now get the following
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
“Fatal error: Call to a member function getValue() on a non-object in /home/wendygde/public_html/wp-content/plugins/-wysija-newsletters/core/base.php on line 1487”

    Now what do i do

sorted it have it now working

What did you exactly do to sort it out?
Up to now I’m not upgrading WP to 4.3 because I’m not sure Mailpoet will continue to work…

ours did stop working and i basically had to up the memory limit by first stopping mail poet so i could access the admin area then installing this plugin and changing the memory limit to 128 MB https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/change-memory-limit/ then re-enable mailpoet and it should work in wp 4.3, to stop mail poet i suggest de-activating it prior to upgrading to wp 4.3 otherwise you will need to access the plugins through cpanel and change mailpoert to -mailpoet so it forces a de-activation. then once you have upped the memory limit re-changing -mailpoet back to mailpoet

changing the memory limit should be done after upgrading to wp 4.3 not before

Make sure to update to the latest version 2.6.17!
