Add DROP TABLE: tick or untick?

    In the Backing Up Your Database explanation, Step 6 instructs us to tick the Add DROP TABLE checkbox.

    However, the accompanying image (Image #4) shows it as unticked.

    So which is it? Tick it? Don’t tick it? Or does it not matter?

    Also, my version of phpMyAdmin (2.70-pl2) includes a checkbox in the Data section that’s not covered in the instructions. There’s a check box called:

    “Use hexadecimal for binary fields”

    Should this be ticked, or not? Or does it not matter?

    I need to wrap my brain around this database back up thing. It’d be a nightmare to think I’ve been backing stuff up all along only to find out something’s been done incorrectly.
