Front Page Problem

Hello,

thanks for your great looking Theme!

I have a problem with the slider (Image) on the fron Page. When I use my latest posts as content for the front page the slider (image) works perfectly. But when I use a static page as my front page the slider (image) disappears.
I hope you understand my problem.

And a second question:
Is it possible to insert buttons, like the ones from the slider in my page content?

PS: I’m using the lite version, but looking forward to buy the Pro version if I can solve my problems.
