Unable to change icon once 1st version loaded

  • Hi There,

    I am trying to change the image used to generate the icons. The plugin interface lets me do this and I can see the image file path and filename has changed, however upon saving the page to my iPhone, the previous icon is still present? I have closed all browsers on the phone and cleared cache/history, however when saving the icon it is still the first image I loaded and not the second one…

    I tried removing the plugin, even deleted the Vanilla bean plugin folder completely and reinstalled but the same thing seems to happen.

    Any ideas please?

    HI Pierre,

    You can verify whether the actual icon is changed by visiting a path directly on your site such as
    wp-content/uploads/favicons/favicon-160×160.png?random

    Please advise if you are seeing the old or the new?
