    Hi,

Recently I have encountered with this problem:

I have three page builder rows in one of my pages. Each row has a visual editor widget which respectively has a nextgen gallery. You can see all pictures (previews) correct. However, if you press a picture to see an enlarged copy in a lightbox, a wrong picture appears if I press a preview in the upper two rows – a picture from the lowest row appears. Please check this on thes page:

This is very important to me as this is the core of my business – to show cool picture to the potential customers.

The problem is universal as long as there are several rows with different nextgen galleries on one page. Even the news dynamic page which combines several posts show only the lowest gallery pictures in the lightbox regardless of the pic you press.

PLEASE HELP!!! Nextgen claims it is not their fault.

    Regards, Fiorita

    Hi @fiorita

    Thanks for reaching out.

There have, unfortunately, been small problems reported with Page Builder and NextGen after the past period. Plugin conflicts or challenges like this aren’t usually something we can resolve in plugin support. They are logged and then placed in a bug queue for our developers to assess when able. Not ideal if you just need a fix and for things to be working!

For the moment you have a couple of options:

    1. Look at rebuilding this specific page outside of Page Builder. I assume this will resolve the challenge.

    2. Look at moving away from NextGen. You can get a very similar look and feel using regular WordPress galleries in the Visual Editor widget combined with:

    https://jetpack.me/support/tiled-galleries/
    https://jetpack.me/support/carousel/

Using regular galleries also means it’s really easy to switch to other gallery effects plugins in the future. The downside is re-building these galleries.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I have now logged it for our developers to review.

    Hi MIsplon,

Thanks a lot for such a quick response

I will try the jetpack thing – although I do not like using the wordpress media library as id does not let me use subfolders and since I have 1200+ pics – it/s messy

When somebody approaches you with the similar problem, you can say that changing from lightbox pro option to fancybox or shatter fixes the bug. But it doesn’t look as nice.

    ANyway, thanks again a lot

Thanks for the feedback with regards to folders etc. That makes a lot of sense. Also, good to know the bug is specific to Lightbox Pro. Sorry we aren’t able to hotfix for you.

For sure, glad to hear you’re enjoying our plugins.

I have seen plugins that help better organise the media library, that might be one way to go for now.
