errors on payment

  • hi there,

    I keep getting error messages on the checkout when i click pay now – i appreciate there’s a lot of questions about this through the forums but can’t seem to find what i’m looking for!

    It comes up with json errors or syntax errors – the odd thing is sometimes it processes the payment and seems to go through fine but the user is left on the checkout page with errors.

    Sounds like there must be some sort of a jQuery conflict going on with your site that causes the final JSON result to be invalid. Usually this happens when the result value includes some sort of a PHP notice or warning of some sort. We need to see that PHP error info in order to know what’s going on.

    One way to do that would be to reproduce the problem with Firebug open to the Console so that you can see the raw POST response that comes back when that error happens.

    Another way would be to check the PHP error logs on your server.

    The first step in troubleshooting this sort of thing is finding those errors so we know what’s going on. Please provide that info.
