Do you know how qtranslate-x saves the output? I have a feeling all this is saved within the same post ID which is causing the issue.

Hi, Yes I know. All translations are stored under the same (only one) post ID as the original language version, separated by tags that denote where each language starts and ends.

It might be worth checking with the developer of Qtranslate-X if there is a way to pull a specific language depending on which page it is on.

In theory, you could get the cache to work with QTranslate-X but it will require quite a bit of extra code.
