    hello,

I changed my login page. I was not able to get back once I changed it. So I ftp and deactivated the plugin. I was able to get back into wp-admin.

Once I activate the plugin again. It kicks me right out of wp-admin again. Can you please help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin- it still kicks me out.

I want to keep using the plugin. But it keeps kicking me out.

    Thanks.

Hi, did you use one of the Brute Force features?

possibly. it was a group effort. someone might have done the Brute Force. Is there a way to deactivate that? I just want to get the plugin working. It was working great until we changed the page.

what do you think? how can we resolve that?

Hi, If you don’t want to use any of the Brute Force rename login features simply disable them.

I am not even able to get to the configuration page.

the second I reactivate the plugin, it kicks me out and goes back to the 404 page.

Can you carry follow the following instructions to totally remove and delete the plugin. Then you can simply install a fresh new copy. Once you have done that make sure you don’t enable any of the Brute Force features if you don’t want to use them.

I deleted the plugin. I removed all the firewall rules. I then reinstalled the plugin. It still kicks me out right away to the 404. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks.

Did you also remove all the plugin entries from the following tags in the .htaccess file?

    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

    Yes.

Right now the .htaccess file is blank. I removed everything between the two tags.

What else do I need to remove???

Log into phpMyAdmin and locate the database for the website you are having problems with. Go to the WordPress “options” table. Look for the row which has the option_name value of aio_wp_security_configs and delete that row.

If you see other tables with aio_wp in it delete them as well. Make sure you only delete the tables related to this plugin “aio_wp”.
