to post instead over showing overlay

  • This has been working but cannot get it to work after the last update…
    I am using featured images and a hover text on my site https://www.snellevlechtjes.nl.
    Before, when clicking on the image from the main page, the video overlay was shown and the video would autoplay.
    Now, I am taken to the post page, where I can then click on the video to get it playing.

    I would like it to do the following:
    1. on the main page, on clicking the image, it should open the overlay and autoplay in there.
    2. on a post page, it should autoplay regardless after opening the page, but embedded instead of in an overlay. (the post page can be reached by clicking the “Meer informatie” link below the featured image on the homepage).

    I may have messed up the settings but I cannot get it to work after fiddling with it for hours.

    I am using Safari for Mac but have tested on Firefox for Mac as well.

    Did this actually work with 2.2.1? Because looking at the source of your site — the plugin does not do anything at all on the homepage. Looks like the homepage template of the theme is not compatible with the plugin. You can still downgrade to 2.2.1 and stick with that version.
