Image Description

  • This is a two fold question, firstly relating to my own website (timskinner.co.uk/about), I want to have a larger description of the images appear in the pop-up below the image how do I go about doing this? at the moment I’m using Lightbox Plus. I’ve worked out using the Alt Text bar I can create a caption that only appears in the pop-up but was wondering if it is possible to get the description to show.

    The 2nd part to this relates closely to the first (actually they are interrelated)……my girlfriend has asked me to help out with her wp blog, on the freesite wp.com. This has limited functionality with no plugin options so I’m struggling with it….I might be missing something obvious but when you click on an image it opens the attachment link but all it shows is the image, no alt text or description how can I make this appear? ideally the description (as she would like book blurbs to appear alongside or below the image)

    Hope someone can help with giving me an insight into showing images descriptions.
