And what makes you think these countries do not get blocked?

I have all countries except the USA blocked. The IP addresses that are coming in are identified by the plugin as being from Russia and China. They are not being blocked. Just today I have had more than 500 hacking attempts on the site, blocked by word fence, as they got to the login page and tried to log in. IQ says:
    Overall statistics since start

0 visitors blocked from the backend.

12 visitors blocked from the frontend.

Because today it has blocked two visitors while I have had more than 500 from Russia and China attempt to use the login form. Wordfence shows the IPs, when I type them into IQ, it identifies them as Russian Federation, but it does not block them.

Another more than 500 hacking attempts today, almost all from .ru, I sampled a few and the plugin knows they are from russia. It has blocked a whopping 22.

And does it display on the tools tab when you lookup the ip address that is is banned from the frontend and/or backend?

Yes. The plugin does. not. work.
IP Adress 217.77.215.249 belongs to Ukraine.

This country is not permitted to visit the frontend of this website.
This country is not permitted to visit the backend of this website.
    ==================
A user with IP address 217.77.215.249 has been locked out from the signing in or using the password recovery form for the following reason: Used an invalid username ‘azhometips’ to try to sign in.
    User IP: 217.77.215.249
    User hostname: 217.77.215.249
    User location: Mykolayiv, Ukraine

And if you lookup 217.77.215.249 in your raw access log of the webserver does it have a 403 HTTP error code in it?

As in that case the plugin works, it just does not log that it has banned this ip address.

Other WordPress plugins will also handle this visitor. So you may get notified even if the visitor gets blocked.

I know it hasn’t banned it, because Wordfence reported that it locked it out after typing the wrong password. So your plugin does not appear to work. Today I had more than 500 bad password attempts from foreign countries. IQ blocked NONE of them.

Is there some log you want to see? I’d love for this to actually work.
