    Hi there

I suppose you are using Google Apps for Work/Business and the related Calendar that comes with those.

Now, I think that’s the same as Google Calendar, but I’m not sure if you can access your organization calendars with the simple API Key. Have you tried generating one under an account for that organization?

Secondly, are the organization calendars public?

If you tried both of these, and didn’t work out, I’d believe that the simple api key method which the plugin currently uses won’t work with Google Apps for Business.

We should roll out not so far in the future an extension that supports OAuth and might work with Google Apps for Business.

Please let me know if the two ideas above work for you

Thank you for your quick response. I am afraid I would not have any idea as to how I would install a wordpress plugin into a google site. I’m sorry I am not very familiar with how the google calendars work or your pluing as it installs so nicely into wordpress.
Would I need to load the code into Google script and run the script from inside my website as an app?
We are Google Apps for Education site. And yes the calendars are public and we are using the standard google calendar. I probably can get an API key just wouldn’t know what to do with it after i did !

Sorry perhaps I’m a bit confused here

are you trying to install WordPress or the plugin in a Google Site?

I’m not sure how Google Sites work – I assume you can install WordPress there

from the plugins menu in dashboard you can choose ‘add new’ and search for this plugin, then install and activate it

as for the API key you can enter an API key in the plugin settings once the plugin is activated

some doc here https://wpdocs.philderksen.com/google-calendar-events/ (I’m aware that something may have changed in Google where to look for API Key and Calendar ID but the guidelines are still valid)

Google Sites is a free and easy way to create websites. No wordpress allowed !! Google hosts the site for free on their servers and its kindof a WYSIWYG format. No dashboard no plugins. HTML and CSS can still be used but you have to know what your doing and if you put in code that google doesn’t like it strips it out. Suppose to be very secure but also very basic. It does a nice job for free. Here is our site done with google in case you want to see the look. https://www.magellancharter.org Some day if you get to play around with google sites and you get your plugin to work with them keep me in mind. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out and answer my questions. Thanks again

If no WordPress is allowed there then you can’t use this plugin either.

You might want to embed a Google Calendar in a iframe straight from Google Calendar
