Login page disappeared; now get 404 error page

are you using ithemes security plugin ? You must have enabled hide admin backend. try to access your admin panel through: /wplogin Instead of /wp-admin.

Np! You can still access your security plugin and change the admin login to whatever name you like instead of wplogin for better security. However you can stick to that one.
