Can't get full browser width on my sliders or pictures.

  • Dear support!

    So I’ve been trying to solve this for 20 hours now without any progress.

    The thing is that I want to have a picture just underneath the header but with full browser width.

    Even if I set the settings of the slider or picture ( i′ve tried both ) to width: 100% it wont work.

    I guess it’s like this because its within a container so it doesnt matter how many % the width gets. Cause it’s not going full browser width anyways as long as its within that container?

    I cant seem to fix it with CSS.

    How do I solve this?

    At the moment you are using a default page template,to get the wide view use the full width page template.

    FYI, you can use the Optimizer Slider instead of Revolution Slider. Just set your front page display to “Your latest posts” from Settings -> Reading.

    Hi!

    The thing is I′ve set the page template to ” full width page” so there’s something wrong with the template I guess. See here -> https://imgur.com/txCWqw4

    The “Full Width template” is selected and it has always been selected ( even when you checked ).

    So is something wrong with the template?

    It doesn’t matter which template I choose because the page always looks the same either way.

    In your documentation it says ” Full Width Page Template” so it’s not exactly the same name as I have. Haven’t I gotten the right template?

    Regarding the optimizer slider, I can only see that working for the front page ( Home ).

    We have to investigate this issue. For the time being insert this in Appearance -> Customize -> Miscellaneous -> Custom CSS

    #content .center {width:100%;}
.single_post {padding: 0;}

    Wow thanks that did it!

    I’m just wondering about the space between the header and the slider now.

    How do I get rid of that? The padding is 0 shouldnt it be no space there?

    There seemed to be a <p></p> causing the gap.
    So I did p {margin: 0px;} . It worked, but maybe you have a better solution?

    If I add P {margin: 0px;} it only changes the main content. What should I add for the titles?
