[Plugin: WooCommerce] Limit user to stock management only

  • Hello folks,
    I’m running a little e-shop with WooCommerce here and I now need to add another user to help me manage the stock quantities so I made an appropriate role and granted the bare minimum capabilities to the role in order to get the user to view only the “Products” menu (and unfortunately also the “WooCommerce” menu – btw is there a way to hide this one?).
    Anyways, what I really need to do is to limit the user’s capabilities within the Product menu, specifically the user should be only able to set the stock quantities under the inventory tab and shouldn’t be able to edit or modify any other input like sku, product name, product id, descriptions, prices, etc…

    Is there a way to do this? All this would be to avoid accidental and unwanted modifications..

  • I am also interested in this but in reverse, so that selected users DON’T edit the stock counts that an Admin would put in.
