WordPress Customizer Theme Vs PhP Customized Website

  • I apologize of the question is on the wrong forum but being from a non-computer based professional background, I began my leaning of web designing with wordpress (Customizer pro theme) about 2 years back and created a site that reviews restaurants, post menu cards, address etc. It’s more a website than a blog.
    2 years down the line, based on friends feedback, I am considering to take it to the next level with the option to order food too. Something in the lines of Foodpanda.
    My questions are;
    1. Can I just add on feature for payment, menu cards with links etc in wordpress or will I need a customized site using PhP or other languages.
    2. Can a site like ‘Food Panda’ be designed using WordPress.
    3. What is the security level ? How secure are the payment gateways?
    4. Response time regarding WordPress vs Customized site
    5. If not wordpress, what would be the best option.

    In general, a large percentage of commercial sites (other than the mega companies) are using WordPress along with e-commerce plugins like WooCommerce.

    Lots of Payment Gateways available and yes, they are secure.

    Using something like this, you’ll see that Food Panda uses WordPress
