shortcut for accents work with MWord but not with WP

When writing in Portuguese in MWord I use some shortcuts, such as “Ctrl+,+c” to write ?, and “Ctrl+’+a” to write á. But these shortcuts are not functional with WordPress, for example, when I write a blog post. Any idea on how to fix it? I need a systematic fix since I will only be writing in Portuguese in this new blog.
