Theme Test Drive alternative?

When I’m working on my sites, I either use a staging server or my local machine, do all my fiddling locally, then send it back to the live server. I use a paid tool: https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-migrate-db-pro/.

Takes a little getting used to, but it’s definitely helped. I move the files by hand (actually, I use GoodSync), and the DB Migrate Pro to sync the database.
