    Hello everyone.

Following these instructions https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site I moved my site from my “temp” folder I had to the root of the server. Everything is fine, except for when I want to upload new images, it shows me the upload progress and once it finishes, instead of a preview I get a broken image icon. I checked the server folder where it is supposed to be and nothing, it’s like the WordPress admin doesn’t have permission to access the database.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

    Thanks!

    Try:
Go to Admin -> Settings -> Media and make sure both the Store uploads in this folder and Full URL path to files entries are blank and Save Changes.

Almost! it had this “/home/content/93/10297393/html/wordpresstemp/wp-content/uploads” I left it blank and saved, uploaded an image and I get the same.

What are the proper folder permissions there should be in the wp-content folders and subfolders? The path of the supposedly uploaded picture is “https://efenueve.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/image.jpg” but it just isn’t there when I look via ftp.

Solved! Godaddy tech support was able to help, they just changed the folders’ permissions from 705 to 755.
