Don’t display sidebar on “pages” but do display on blog?

  • I’m using WordPress as a complete website.

    There are 5 pages.

    There is also the traditional blog that is one of the pages.

    How can I modify the template or the code so that only the blog displays the sidebar? Basically, I don’t want the archives, search box, and post categories showing up on the “About Us” page and “Home” page.

    Is this possible?

  • Pages. See the Templates section.
    Create a custom Page template. Use that when writing your Pages – or assign the template to them when it’s done.
