image parameters from blog posts show in Facebook link preview

  • Whenever I insert links to blog posts on Facebook, the actual text of the post is preceded by the image parameters, like

    [caption id=attachment_4130 align=alignleft width=225] The Thermomix Travel Bag will protect your investment while you take it with you[/caption] I know, I know, I get a bit carried away when I talk about Thermomix. And speaking of carrying things…

    It doesn’t look very professional, does it? It didn’t happen on older versions of WP, probably since version 4. Anyone know why this happens and more importantly, how I can remedy this?
