• Hi
First off, I’m not sure if “banner” is the right word to use.

I’m new to WordPress. I’m using Traffica theme.

I want to remove the footer banner on my home page. Seems to be a default thing because I didn’t create it…I’m referring to the grey area on this page:

    Can anyone help?

Also, I want to move the UK, Spain, Poland flags as they are links to their respective languages (PolyLang plug). Would like to re-position these at top of screen. Again, if anyone can help.

    Thanks in advance.

  • You can edit it in wp-content/themes/traffica/footer.php file.

Actually, don’t edit that file. When the theme is updated you will lose all of your work.

Create and activate a child theme, copy that footer.php file into the child theme directory and then edit that copy instead.

Thanks, but I am a complete novice with zero experience.

I have read the link in the previous poster’s reply, but I am clueless.

How do I navigate to ‘/wp-content/themes/’ from my dashboard?

    Thanks
