Parse Error

  • Hi,

    Please help. I wanted to log in to the control panel of my website only to find this message on the screen.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘yield’ (T_YIELD), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /usr/www/users/chrisukqqy/wp-content/plugins/lifestream/inc/core.php on line 2817

    I do not know how to fix it as i can not login to my control panel for wordpress to do anything.

    Please help on fixing this

    Hi!

    It seems that the plugin Lifestream is causing this problem. Just log into the FTP of the site via an FTP client (Filezilla for example) and rename the folder lifestream inside wp-content/plugins.
    This will cause the plugin to deactivate and you should be able to log into the site.
