I have set for one on my category to “Comments OFF”. When I click for the topic under recent post, it does says “Comments are closed”. However in the homepage and also when I click under Categories it puts somekind of image and doesnot display “Comments Off” properly. I was trying to look at the files where this part of the information is coming for these two pages and so far unsuccessful. Have anybody had this kind of problem. I am using Autumn theme from ed merritt.

How did you do that on a category? I’ve never seen such an option. You disable comments either for the site or for individual posts…

I added a post to the category and then said no comments, actually. Sorry for misleading ??

I actually figured it out how to make it work. The author was using two images for comment button. I made some change in the stylesheet and also in php file.

My question probably belongs here, but not sure. I am a brand new user, having just downloaded the product yesterday and I just installed it successfully.

I have turned comments off for all articles under Discussion and I have also turned it off as I have made each of my 3 first posts. Apparently it is necessary to do the latter even though I would think the former would override??

Still, “No comments” appears under each post. I would really like it better if “No comments” did not appear at all. Can this be done?

Reason is I want to start out slowly with this. At first I don’t want any comments. I think people will want to click on “No comments” and believe they will be confused seeing :Comments are closed”.

    Thank you,

    Tom
