Is there a way to connect to Stripe without re-entering all info?

    Hi,

    I’m setting this up for a client, and they have already registered an account with Stripe (without me), since there is sensitive bank account info. I have registered him with Buy Now for Stripe, but in order to connect to Stripe, it is asking me all of the same info he has already input. Is it possible to just connect to the existing Stripe account without re-entering all of the info again?

    I tried entering the API key I received in the email after setup for Buy Now for Stripe and it is not connecting. The message I get is:
    “ERROR: API Key must be valid and connected to your Buy Now for Stripe account. Read the Instructions to see how to do this.”

    I figured this may be because it is not connected to the Stripe account yet. Is that correct?

    Hello,

    Ok, I think we resolved the issue. He told me later that he had not yet entered his account info into the Stripe account. After he completed that, I retried the process and this time, it did automatically connect, and then the API key worked. So we’re all good.
