Multiple Tickets

Greetings.
I have created one event with multiple tickets (Single occupancy, double occupancy, student, etc.). All of the tickets have a default of “1” and no option to select “0” so a registrant is automatically signed up for 5 tickets! Is this a bug in the program or am I using it wrong?
Is there an option for multiple ticket mode or some such thing?
