    Hi Bert!

    What exactly isn’t working?

If you go to the “Setup” tab, does the connection to your pod work?
Or does it connect but not post?

We’re working on a better debug functionality to make it easier to find out what exactly isn’t playing right ??

I am not totally sure if the plugin connects to my pod.

In the earlier version of the plugin I seem to recall a message on the top of the settings page which said I was connected. No I only see a green √ in the setup tab, which I hoped would also mean that the plugin is connected to my pod.

    Regards,
    Bert

Correct, the green tick means the connection to your pod is successful.

When you try to post to diaspora, do you get an error message at the top of the post page? If yes, what does it say?

On a successful post, there should be a green bar (similar to the one from WordPress) containing the link to the post on diaspora*.

Thanks a lot for trying to sort this.

As I schedule my posts I have not seen any error message. But I just posted a test, and it worked! The question now is whether the problem has sorted itself, or that the problem is with scheduled posts. (I always schedule my posts.)

Let us hope that the problem is indeed solved. Tomorrow morning I will be able to check if it also works again for scheduled posts. I’ll let you know.

Thanks again for the quick replies.

Great to hear that the normal posting works.

Please do let me know about the scheduled ones, so that we can dig deeper if need be.

I will look into it anyway to see how it could happen in the first place.

Did you update the plugin before or after the schedule was set?

“Did you update the plugin before or after the schedule was set?”

Probably both, but I am certain that some of the posts were scheduled after updating.

I will let you know what happens tomorrow morning, when the next scheduled post is due.

Unfortunately, it did not work for my scheduled post of this morning.

Same today. So the problem seems to be with scheduled posts. Any suggestions?

We are going to fix and release a new version very soon!
