It looks like there may be an issue with the previous event on a single event page. For some reason, instead of jumping to the event that is just before the event you are currently on, it jumps to the oldest possible event. While the next event works perfectly fine. I noticed this issue even exists on the Modern Tribe websites for The Events Calendar demo page. ( Example: https://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2015-09-30/ )

Is there a fix to this issue? I reviewed the links.php page and the template and they seem correct as far as I can tell but I might be getting further into the weeds on this issue than I am comfortable with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi @labcoatlackie,

Thanks for reporting this! This is a known bug, as far as we know this is only happening with Recurring events (as in our demo page).

Are you using PRO (recurring events only come in PRO) or are you seeing this in the Core version?

Thanks again for the heads-up on this,
    Best,
    Nico

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been out of town for the last week. Yes, my client is using the Pro version and uses a lot of recurring events. I will keep an eye out for an update to correct this issue and let my client(s) know it is a known issue and will be addressed in the future.

    Cheers,
    Douglas

    Hey Douglas,

No problem. In the future though we do ask that you reach out on our Pro forums on our main website. We’re technically not allowed to provide support for our premium plugins via the forums here on www.ads-software.com.

    Thanks!

    Thanks beardedginger,

Sorry about that. I would have added it to the pro forum but it was purchased by my clients and it’s a pain trying to get access to their account. Seems like they never know who created the account or how to get into it once they make the purchase. I’ll chase it down eventually. The perils of Web Development.

    Cheers,
    Douglas

    Hi,

I am going to mark this resolved as it is a Pro issue and not core.

We are working on fixing this as well.

    Thanks
