Hi, thank you for using yasr.

    1) This is because yasr moved from microdata to the new format json-ld. I suggest you to wait if in the next days google will index again the stars in the serp. Hovewer, in the next version, I’ll add a setting to choose between microdata or json

    2) This is not possible, sorry!

    Best,
    Dario

    Hi Dario,
Before update 0.9.8 I have about 90 posts with stars in Google search results – now I have 0… If you know, that google still works on implementing json-ld ratings – why you add this function now?

    Greetings,
    Adrian

I suggest again to wait some days, you can test yourself your pages and they’re working on the testing tool.

For example, in my case, stars disappeard in all posts but they’re visible now in some post

Just wait and see what happens ??

Hi crystygye, thank you for using Yasr.

Json-ld is the newest format and will be the new standard soon.
It is very simple and it’s amazing.

But at today, it’s not fully supported by google, as they say here https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/reviews and here https://developers.google.com/structured-data/schema-org

Google itself suggest to use microdata or rdfa for review type at the moment.

As soon as json-ld will be fully supported for review type, microdata will be purged out from Yasr.

    Best,
    Dario
