    Hi,

I had a free wordpress blog on the .com site, but I have recently set-up a .org blog at my own webspace. I imported everything, and spent days of setting everything up and testing it. But now that iit is ready to go public I have a question:

Is there a way to make the .com url automatically redirect people (And maybe even google) to the .org blog?

What I whant to achieve is that users can keep using this url “https://myblog.worpress.com”, but are automatically redirected to “”https://myblog.mywebspace.com”.

    Thanks in advance!

Not without access to the server, which only the .com folks have. You’d have to ask them.

Staff at wp.com has stated that they don’t allow wordpress.com blogs to be redirected. Best bet is just post the new URL on your old blog and start using the new one. That is why many people use the domain name on that service in case they do decide to change hosts.
