    Hi there,

I migrated my website from a local server to production, and suddenly the buttons lost some functionality. They go to the correct spot on the page, but the page no longer scrolls to the location like it is supposed to.

I’m also using the child theme Blackbeard.

    Anything helps,

    Thanks

    C

    Hello C,

Can you try to disable all the plugin you are using to see if any of those are causing the issue?
Also, i have checked your website and i like the way it looks. Good job! ??

    Best regards,
    Alexandra

    Yes I tried this,

I’ve deactivated all of the plugins. and the buttons still don’t work.

I had migrated from a local host MAMP to Production Server, and the buttons immediately lost their animation functionality after that.
Like I said they go to the correct spot on the page but they do not animate down any more.

It works fine with just a parent theme but when I apply the child theme it dies.

Thanks for the props on the site Alex ??

    Hello @clevelandstordy,

Have you done any customization in child theme?

    Regards,

    Hi;
    I have the same problem.

The only active pluggin is Woocommerce; when I deactivated it, the smooth scrolling worked again.

I have to use that plugin; any idea how to fix the scrolling? The site is https://mybruselas.com/web

    Thanks in advanced!

On a related note, the zerif.js file only adds an event listener to buttons in header

This means that buttons elsewhere (e.g. ribbons) will not smooth scroll.

@gouravwptech, can you include these buttons next time you update the theme?

I’m reluctant to do too much customisation because I don’t want to break the theme on updates.

That is another question, when you post the changelog, can you please include which files are changed? It will make updates easier for those with child themes in case something breaks.
