Update procedure to MailPoet version "2.1.6" failed!

    After uninstalling and using the uninstall pluggin, and then re-installing, the pluggin has stopped working..
    It throws following errors.
    1. Update procedure to MailPoet version “2.1.6” failed!

    2. Table ‘wp_zenmysoul_in_1.wp_wysija_user_list’ doesn’t exist (UPDATE wp_wysija_user_list as A inner join wp_wysija_user as B on (A.user_id= B.user_id) set A.sub_date= B.created_at where A.sub_date=0 and A.unsub_date=0 and B.status>-1;)

    its not creating any new newsletter or list or subscriber.

  • Go to Settings page > Advanced tab > Geeky Options and click on the “Reinstall Now…” button, this will fix this issue. Also, make sure to disable the uninstall plugin.

    Just be aware that this “Reinstall now” function, will completely erase all your MailPoet data.

    Hi, I’m having the exact same problem and no access to the advanced settingS. I’ve been using mailpoet in the past. But I recently couldn’t delete subscribers, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall MailPoet (using it with Sendgrid) and now I have this ‘can’t update 2.1.6’ message.

    Same problem.

    Performed – Advanced tab > Geeky Options and click on the “Reinstall Now.

    MailPoet has been reinstalled successfully using the same version. Settings and data have been deleted.
