    Hi,

this plugin rocks! I’m very happy with it!
Today I found one strange thing.

I added an “all-day-event” on my Google Calendar from July 30 to August 12. But my calendar-feed shows up the event from July 30 to August 13! Couldn’t fix that, so I entered start-time and end-time. After that, everything is correct.

I added an “ally-day-event” for a single day. Everything is correct.

Can anybody help me with that?

    Cheers
    Jonny

    Hello Jonny,

thanks for using the plugin, glad you’re happy with it

I’m not 100% sure if I understood the problem, but perhaps it can be solved with an offset or by using some of the conditional tags listed here?

    https://wpdocs.philderksen.com/google-calendar-events/event-builder/

please let me know if it doesn’t solve and I’ll look further in your issue

Hi and thanks for the quick repsone.

I added an event for test purpose to show you what I mean. It’s called “Testtermin” (sorry, German!) You can find the feed here:
    https://zeltlager.cvjm-ebersbach.de/gce_feed/zeltlager/

The event is shown like this:
    Testtermin
    12. Oktober 2015 – 16. Oktober 2015

In my Google calendar I added the event like this (screenshot):
    https://jonnylander.dynasigns.de/googlecalendar.jpg
As you can see, the event lasts only from 12th oktober to 15th oktober.

The plugin is extending the event on 1 day!

Do you understand what I mean?
    Cheers
    Jonny

I have exactly the same problem. In agenda, on 415.ch, you can see 1 event 31.10-02.11, and in gcal it’s 31.10-01.11 !
    Thanks for your help!

I am happy to read your posts here!
I have the same problem on all my “All Day” events and could not fix it.

If i open the google calendar link from the event, the calendar shows me the wrong (extended) Date. When i want to change the date of the event, it shows me the right date.

My calendar has also a german timestamp.

    thanks for help

I’ll try to look into that further

but since 3.0.0 is coming out soon it’s likely this might be solved in the upcoming release (currently in beta)

if you are keen to try the beta to see if it fixes this for you, you can find it here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/simple-calendar-30-beta-now-available?replies=19

however please mind do not install this yet on a live site, unless you know what you’re doing and have backups – test/staging/local site is preferred

it’s a beta so there might be a few quirks still, but overall I hope it’s going to be an improvement over the previous versions

We have released version 3.0.0 so we suggest you update to that when you get a chance. There are a lot of changes so we also suggest reading through this first for more details about the update: https://docs.simplecalendar.io/update-2-4-to-3-x/

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks!
