When issues come up on core files, but there is no difference shown, usually the file will not show up as a problem the next time. Are you using any other security plugins?

We have seen security plugins in the past that would change WordPress’s internal version number, which could cause the files to be compared to the incorrect version during Wordfence’s scans.

It’s possible also that when you mark the issue as “fixed,” something is preventing Wordfence from saving that choice. If you mark an issue as fixed, then go to your WordPress admin dashboard, then go back to the scan page again (without starting a new scan), does the file appear as an issue again?
