plugin: placing a link or button

Hello,

I know most delicious/reddit/digg plug-ins require the user to not only add the plugin, but also hack into the loop in order to place it inside.

What is one way you can make a button plugin without needing the user to hack the loop or even touch that code?

Like automatically insert the button by each post … with a simple plug-in activation….
