Showing Multiple Featured Images in Post excerpt

Hey guys,
I am trying to get the post excerpt for the latest post page to contain multiple featured images but I cant seem to get a plugin that supports the design I need.
The idea is this :
Instead of a typical post excerpt ,I should display an image centric design,one with one full featured image as the main image and then three tiled images just below it…like a thumbnail slideshow gallery kind of design.
To list down the idea,it should be like this:
